Reasonable prices and good portions in a relatively simple, no-frills atmosphere. The restaurant is BYOB, which is nice. The naan was just as it should be, and the poppadom was nice and crispy. I tried the lamb makhani - it left me wanting more, though only because it was delicious. I don't have a good baseline for comparison (for this dish specifically) but thought the flavors were very good.

I absolutely love this Indian restaurant. However, you do have to get over shoddy interiors and minimalist service to enjoy it. Personally, I prefer to be left to eat n peace without being pestered and offered things by staff, so this place really suits me. When you arrive you get complimentary popadoms and salad with a dip. It's so cheap as well, starters cost about £1 (per portion of whatever you want). I recommend the onion bahjis, mushroom bahjis and the potato pakoras (Indian food is vegetarian heaven!). There's loads of choices for mains, most veggie ones cost around around a fiver, but I didn't look at the prices of meat or fish dishes. This includes either rice or chappatis. The portions are really big, both the starters and mains. There are a couple of little issues, you don't get any cutlery with your starters, but I'm sure you can ask for some. The furniture is quite tired and could do with a revamp. Staff are nice though, and are happy to bring more water or extra plates if you ask. We took a baby too, and they set up a high chair for us and brought a small plate so we could give her little bits of the salad to eat. I'd honestly really recommend it! But not if you expect high standards in decoration and want to be weighted on hand and foot!

If I ever commit murder, or do something really bad, or get told by a doctor I have hours to live, I know exactly what I'd have for my last meal, and where I'd eat it. Part of our family life for the last fourteen years, the Kashmir is always an experience and a pleasure. Wonderful eccentric staff, amazing experiences, fantastic food. Such fantastic food.

Hands down, some of the best curry I've ever had. From vindaloo to korma, this restaurant has quite the range. Their naan is delicious as well. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and enjoy the delicious food. They are the sole culprit for why I gained nearly 20 pounds living in Bradford for nine months.
